About the Role:
The Legal Analyst will support the Legal team through research, document review, and coordination of legal matters. Under the direction of Legal Counsel, the Analyst will help prepare and organize contracts and other legal documents, track deadlines, maintain accurate records, and support compliance initiatives.
What You'll Do:
- Supports the Corporate Secretary in corporate governance matters and the management of the company’s organizational structure.
- Responsible for the day-to-day administration of Uniti’s legal entities, coordination of board-related materials and processes, and support for special projects involving corporate governance and entity management.
- Maintains corporate records, supporting board operations, ensuring legal entity compliance, and identifying opportunities to streamline the company’s organizational structure.
- Maintains legal entity filings and supports compliance with applicable filing requirements.
- Drafts corporate filings, secretary’s certificates, and related governance documents.
- Administers and maintains the board portal, and compiles, coordinates, and posts board and committee materials.
- Responds to requests for corporate documents and information from internal and external stakeholders.
Do You Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree, 3-5 years experience preferred
- Significant experience supporting corporate legal, governance, or legal entity management functions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience maintaining confidential corporate records and sensitive information.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience drafting corporate documents and coordinating filings preferred.
- Prior in-house legal or corporate governance experience preferred.
- Familiarity with board support processes and board portal administration.
- Experience working with legal entity management and corporate governance documentation.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Legal and cross-functional teams.
- Process-oriented mindset with the ability to identify efficiencies and improvement opportunities.
