About the Role
We’re looking for a Regional Sales Manager to lead and develop a team of Direct Sales Specialists responsible for bringing fiber internet services directly to residential customers in their communities.
In this role, you’ll own sales performance across an assigned region, leading a field-based team that connects with customers through door-to-door (D2D) and face-to-face sales. You’ll spend time in the field coaching your team, identifying opportunities to improve performance, and building a high-energy, accountable sales culture focused on delivering results and growing our residential fiber customer base.
If you’re an experienced field sales leader who enjoys developing people, driving performance, and winning in competitive markets, this may be the opportunity for you.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Direct Sales Specialists selling fiber internet services to residential customers.
- Own sales performance and results across your assigned region, including achievement of sales and financial objectives.
- Spend time in the field with your team, observing door-to-door sales presentations, providing real-time coaching, and identifying opportunities to improve sales effectiveness.
- Establish clear performance expectations and use sales metrics and results to drive accountability and improve team performance.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and develop sales talent to build a strong pipeline of high-performing Direct Sales Specialists.
- Ensure the team understands current products, services, pricing, promotions, and sales expectations.
- Monitor competitive activity and local market conditions that may impact residential fiber sales.
- Manage regional resources and expenses responsibly while supporting sales growth and profitability.
- Ensure sales activities are conducted professionally and in accordance with Kinetic’s policies and procedures.
Do You Have
- Proven experience leading high-performing field, outside, or direct sales teams in a competitive sales environment.
- Experience managing door-to-door (D2D), residential, telecommunications, fiber, broadband, cable, wireless, or similar field sales teams strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to coach sales professionals and improve individual and team performance.
- Strong understanding of sales metrics, pipeline management, performance management, and territory execution.
- Ability to manage multiple markets, priorities, and sales objectives while maintaining a strong presence in the field.
- Strong communication, leadership, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the assigned region to support field sales activity and team development.
- 12+ years of equivalent related professional experience, including 2–3 years of supervisory experience
What Will Help You Succeed
You’ll thrive in this role if you’re a hands-on sales leader who enjoys being in the field with your team. You know how to turn sales data into action, coach different performance levels, create accountability, and keep teams motivated in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Most importantly, you understand that successful residential sales leadership isn’t just about hitting a number. It’s about building a team that knows its market, connects with customers, executes consistently, and knows how to win.
